A study of the functioning and teaching techniques for voice, focusing on how the vocal mechanism works and how to use this knowledge in instructing others in singing. Objectives include developing an understanding of the acoustical and physiological make up of the vocal apparatus, gaining an aural perception and understanding of specific vocal problems - their causes and possible solutions, and fostering the development of the student's ability to teach sound vocal technique. (Offered every other fall.)
