It provides students an opportunity to study the current and historical multicultural, multiethnic diversity issues in the American society and the school system and their implications for the educational setting. The course is designed to enhance the awareness of the issues involved in cultural diversity, and guide the direction for positive proactive responses. As a graduate level course, research is required.
