This course is designed to provide the student with the scope and structure of economic principles and their effect on the business enterprise. The distinction between macroeconomics and microeconomics, their relationship to each other and their combined effect on the business sector will be the focus of the course. The student is expected to develop an understanding of the various economic systems, their differences, and the basic elements of a free market economy and the determination of price in a free market economy. This course is intended for non-business majors only.
