Students in this course will examine appropriate and developmentally sensitive strategies for managing behavior in typically and atypically developing children ages three through eight years. Performance of functional analysis of behavior and collaboration with support specialties will be discussed. The importance of consistency and proactive strategies and understanding the affective domain of the child will be stressed.
