July 1st MIS3574 Emerging Technologies (2credits, General Credit) In this course, students will explore, discuss and experiment with new technologies that are used in everyday life. The course will provide an opportunity to explore technology as more than computer programs and hardware. The objective is to inspire students to use their business skills and to demonstrate how innovation can play an important role in all walks of life. This course should appeal to wide range of students from both liberal arts and business backgrounds. This is an opportunity to bridge the gap between liberal arts, business, technology and engineering. Students need not be overly tech savvy. Prerequisite - MIS 1000 and MOB 1000 or FME 1001.
