Course Level: Undergraduate This course explores the ways in which the social and cultural construction of sexual difference influences the nature and practice of political life in a variety of countries. It examines the ways in which power is gendered and studies how gender has served as a basis for political organization and a critique of public life. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite for General Education credit: COMM-100 or ECON-100 or GOVT-110 or SOCY-150.
