Course Level: Washington Semester The interdisciplinary Washington Semester in Transforming Communities seminars introduce students to community issues through lectures, guest speakers, and site visits to community-based and government organizations at the front lines of community transformation. Issues discussed include housing, business development, community safety, social policy, and education. Meets with GOVT-417/GOVT-418. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: admission to the program.
