Course Level: Undergraduate/Graduate Experiments related to clinical analysis of human biochemicals. Examines personal blood components, buffers, antacids, digestion, practical statistics, determination of blood hemoglobin, colorimetry, bioluminescence, enzymes, oral glucose tolerance testing, insulin, diabetes, hypoglycemia, determination of blood HDL cholesterol , lipoproteins, and heart disease. Usually offered alternate springs (odd years). Prerequisite: Biochemistry I and Biochemistry II (may be taken concurrently).
