This course explores the process of the sketch in developing, proposing, and planning visual works in various media. Students work on synthesizing ideas and representing them formally and conceptually, with emphasis on individual creative expression. Usually offered every fall. Prerequisite: admission to M.F.A. program, or permission of instructor.
