Course Level: Undergraduate Offered as part of the AU Abroad program in Rabat, Morocco. Continuation of ARAB-326. This course develops advanced mastery of Arabic, control of vocabulary and grammar in Modern Standard Arabic, and cultural concepts embedded in the language. Focus is on all five linguistic skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture). The course also incorporates authentic reading passages that address a range of topics including politics, society, religion, and literature, to enable students to strength their reading skills and increase vocabulary acquisition, refine and expand knowledge of sentence structure and the Arabic verb system, as well as exposing students to writers from across the Arab world. Usually offered every term.
