A capstone course for music majors emphasizing connections between theory, history, and practice. Through an in-depth study of three seminal masterpieces (e.g., Mozart's Jupiter Symphony or Arnold Schoenberg' s Pierrot Lunaire) , this seminar considers the interrelations of analysis, historical and stylistic awareness, and performance practice.
