This class requires the student to attend the annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival held in the fall in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In consultation with the professor, students will select particular documentary films and filmmakers to study in an in-depth manner. Students will research films, interview filmmakers, screen films, and write papers to present in a public forum. COM 3203, Documentary Film and Video is a concurrent or previous requirement.
