designed to be a forum for advancing a preexisting body of work in aesthetic and conceptual terms for upper level students with a concentration in the Visual Arts (Arts Administration, Graphic Design, and Studio Arts). The student formulates a clear thesis for presentation purposes. Persons will work in a team format to address contemporary topics outlined in the course description and syllabus. Topics covered include: exhibition systems, presentation strategies, artist statements, contemporaneous visual culture issues, and the process for refining a body of work. May be repeated once. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor.
