introduces the student to studio lighting for photography as it is applied in product, portrait, interior, and artistic projects. The class introduces the student to spot, flood, strobe, flash and natural lighting techniques and professional equipment. Through a series of lighting exercises, the student develops foundation knowledge on how specific forms of lighting and equipment are used for specific results in commercial and fine art projects. In addition, students will work with digital, medium, and large format cameras over the course of the semester. Prerequisite: MCOM 122.
