provides an overview of community health principles. This course provides the student with the opportunity to apply and synthesize theoretical concepts with clients who have multiple acute and/or chronic health deviations. Ongoing development of the professional role is supported through group discussion, analysis of client experiences and care settings, and exposure to formal nursing research. (Clinical hours are required for this course). Prerequisite: RN status; BIOL 211, 221, 252, and CHEM 121 (or equivalents).
