is designed to teach the most common techniques used in the field of organic chemistry. The approach is investigative where theories that govern techniques are conceptualized through hands on experience. The students will learn how to perform the following techniques: extraction, recrystallization, melting point, distillation, chromatographic separation, infrared spectroscopy, and synthesis.
