Review of current information about women's positions in U.S. society with special attention to differences in class, race and ethnicity, and political ideology. Theories of power, discrimination, self-concept, and social action as applied to women's experiences. Prerequisite: WMST 150 or SOAN 100 or 102. Offered as needed.
