Spring (4 credits). Reading and introduction to Hispanic literary texts to develop skills in literary analysis and critical writing using examples from Hispanic literature in the three genres. Students will read such authors as Márquez, Cortázar, Poniatowska, Garro and Fuentes. This course is intended to introduce students to in depth understanding of literature and writing.
