THA 340 - Advanced Acting

Spring (4 credits). Focus on various approaches to character and style analysis. Through in-depth study, the differences and similarities of diverse acting styles are examined. Sources of study include mask work, approaches to text, video and live performances, and historical research. Prerequisite: THA 140 and 240. May be repeated for degree credit, for a maximum of 8 credits, with department chair approval. Offered as needed.
