Fall (3 credits). Designed to give the future athletic trainer, coach, or physical education instructor a basic knowledge of the prevention, recognition, and/or care of athletic injuries. Topics offered include injury evaluation, treatment, taping, and protective techniques involved with today's young athletes. Laboratory work with the athletic trainer is required. Prerequisite: PE 320. Offered in alternate years.
