Fall (1), Spring (1), Summer (1). Introductory classroom experiences linked to liberal studies major coursework in language and literature. Structured, supervised participation in various school settings and at different grade levels for prospective teachers. Students will reflect on, analyze, and discuss K-8 observations and experiences in relation to subject area course content. May be repeated once for degree credit. Prerequisite: second-semester freshman standing or higher, fingerprint clearance, and TB test. Corequisite: enrollment in a literature or language course. For liberal studies majors only; other majors by permission. CN only.
