Fall (4 credits), Spring (4 credits). Continued study and review of basic elements of the German language and grammatical structures while developing a core vocabulary of words and phrases for use in conversations and interactions in Salzburg. Exercises in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Differences in learning styles, customs, and traditions between Americans, Austrians, Germans, and other Europeans will be explored. Prerequisite for GERM 201S: GERM 102 or permission. Prerequisite for GERM 202S: GERM 201 or permission.
