Topics include the control of air and waste pollution, solid waste management and recycling, forestry, curbing suburban sprawl, water management, and mitigation of climate change. Issues addressed from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. Prerequisites: ECON 155, or 250, or permission. ECON 251 recommended. Offered in alternate years.
