Fall (4 credits). Intermediate level sculpture focusing on modeling with materials such as clay, plaster, and wax. Various mold-making techniques taught and work may be cast in bronze or aluminum. Emphasis on formal and conceptual development of personal expression. Students will study work of contemporary sculptors. May be repeated for degree credit for a maximum of 12 credits. Prerequisites: ART 131, 132, or 133; and 145. Offered as needed.
