A two-academic period (semester) study of the fundamental facts, laws, and theories of chemistry including: chemical reactions, atomic and molecular structure, gases, aqueous solutions, thermochemistry, equilibrium, acids and bases, kinetics, and electrochemistry. Co-requisite: MA 111. Prerequisite: CH 110 or equivalent. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Credit, four hours each.
