First half deals with digital electronics, emphasizing logic gates, counting, timing and display circuits, latches, memory, and microprocessor fundamentals. The second half deals with circuit analysis and analog electronics, emphasizing power transfer, transistor amplifier circuits, voltage and current control, and operational amplifiers. Three hours lecture, two hours lab. Prerequisites: Physics 122 or 211 and Mathematics 221.
