In-depth study of the philosophy and pedagogy of the Suzuki Talent Education violin method founded by Shinichi Suzuki. Includes the repertoire contained in the foundation units outlined in the Suzuki Association of the Americas' Teacher Development Document. Emphasis on both pedagogical understanding and performance skills of the repertoire. Must be taken in order unless special permission obtained from the instructor. Open to violinists and violists only. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor.
