Uses basic skills learned in Legal Studies 300, in which accent was on learning the law library and how to use the various finding tools in uncovering the law. Advanced legal research and writing deals primarily with what to do once one finds the law, the techniques of reading and analyzing case law, and the fundamentals of legal writing including the use of forms, memoranda, and briefs. Prerequisite: Legal Studies 300.
