Topics include number systems, Boolean algebra, minimization procedures, sequential circuit design, flipflops, counters, registers, and finite-state machines. Logic design is applied to computer architecture and microprogramming and hard-wired concepts are introduced. Programmable logic devices and computer aided design tools for digital circuits used for class projects. Spring.
