A study of human development as the product of both maturational and environmental influences. Emphasis is on the theories and research findings that pertain to preadolescence. Biological and environmental factors regarding physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, moral, and emotional development will be discussed. Prerequisite: PSY 140.
