A survey of the world's major religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and other religions of Asia, those of Africa and the Americas, as well as the three great monotheistic religions-Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Beliefs and practices of each will be examined and assessed from the standpoint of both general and special revelation. Offered spring semester in odd-numbered years. Three hours.
