Personal computers and digital imaging programs are quickly replacing the traditional mediums of photography and drawing in many commercial art fields. This course introduces students to software packages designed to create digital images for both print media and Internet use. Projects are designed to reflect the various uses of digital imaging, and provide a complete range of experiences from high-resolution printed images to Web site animations. Prerequisites: a twodimensional art course (2-D Design, Drawing, or Photography) and CS 1014 or 1124. IV
