The course will examine such investment alternatives as stocks, bonds, options, and various specialized investment alternatives. The importance of both fundamental and technical analysis will be explored. There will be a strong emphasis on evaluating appropriate risk-return trade-offs and the implications of modern portfolio theory. Prerequisite: FIN 301 or permission of instructor.
