This course presents a historical survey of the development of music and worship in the church and a theological survey of music and worship as presented in Scripture. Through the survey, students will gain appreciation for music and worship by developing a philosophy of worship and aesthetics. Attention will also be given to developing and maintaining the heart of a worshiper. This course may count toward the required fine arts elective for all programs.
