Prerequisite: BUS 242 and 45 hours Offered every semester/Fast-Track Spring II E-Commerce is the investigation of the economic foundation and electronic infrastructure of electronic commerce for the purpose of educating students in the realities and potential of electronic commerce. The course focuses on the integration of new economy business strategies with current and emerging e-commerce technologies using the Internet. Topics include Internet infrastructure, business strategies, emerging technologies, security issues, Web site design and evaluation, and social, political and ethical issues associated with e-commerce.
