Prerequisite: Senior I standing, NURS 356 Offered fall and spring Examines and addresses issues in health policy and health care systems from a global and integrative perspective. Fosters an understanding of United States health care policy as it affects economic, political, legal and ethical aspects of the health care delivery system and professional nursing practice. Contemporary health issues, ethics and decision making and their impact on clients are further discussed and analyzed.
