135 clock-hours Prerequisite: Senior II standing Concurrent: NURS 392, 366 All core courses must be completed or being completed concurrently Offered fall and spring Designed to assist the student to make the transition from student to beginning practitioner role in the health care system. Concepts from management as well as nursing therapeutics will be applied in the clinical setting of the student's choice. Clinical decision making, communication and integration of nursing concepts will be highlighted. Reflective practice and evaluation will be emphasized as a means of continued professional career development, as well as personal growth and lifelong learning.
