Cross Ref: EDUG 433 Prerequisite: EDU 344 and EDUL 344 plus completion of 9 semester-hours in the social sciences and 8 semester-hours in science Offered fall and spring terms Instruction on the goals of social studies and science, the clusters of skills that are developed through these disciplines, and a variety of instructional methods are provided. Emphasis on planning, implementing and assessing instruction and student learning. Focus on content/curriculum issues and their relationship to state learning standards in these disciplines. Theorists associated with effective instruction are presented. Level 2 education course: requires admission to the SOE.
