Prerequisite: MATH 305 Offered every spring A continuation of MATH 305 concerned with data description, sampling distributions, curve fitting, inferences dealing with means, variances, and proportions. The emphasis will be on applications. Time permitting, applications will be extended to areas such as reliability, life testing and quality assurance. The use of Minitab statistical software is included. The TI-89 graphing calculator is required.
