This course discusses the basic kinds of writing used most frequently in the media, including description, narration, the interview and criticism as well as other forms. The students read contemporary journalists and essayists, and there is an emphasis on developing the student's personal style. Required for Mass Communication majors. Prerequisites: ENGL T122; CMMN A100 with minimum grade of C (2.0).
