A basic arithmetic course, it is a prerequisite to Elementary Algebra (MA 0913) for students who have not mastered middle school mathematics. Course content includes: whole numbers and their operations; fractions and decimals; ratio and proportion; percentages; signed numbers; basic geometry; and data interpretation. A minimum grade of B- is required prior to enrolling in Elementary Algebra. Grading: Pass/Fail.
