Utilizing an independent method of workbook/text, weekly quizzes, and audio tape pronunciation this course provides the student with a working knowledge of common medical terms and abbreviations. This course will use a body systems approach to medical terminology; therefore, allowing the student to learn vocabulary as it pertains to each of the systems of the body (respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, nervous, etc.).
