EDU 337 - Teaching in the Middle and Secondary School

Topics include principles of learning; classroom communication; group dynamics, and the instructional process. Students will spend one segment of the class in seminars with practicing middle and secondary educators in the identified teaching fields. Field component in school classrooms required. Students must have been admitted to Teacher Education Program and an application for student teaching must be on file in the Education Department prior to registering for this course. Students must also register for EDU 345 in the same semester as 337 or 339 or 341 or 343 unless waived by the professor of the course or the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education. Spring
