Could the psychological stressors of contemporary life affect our health We will explore the connection between the mind and the body to determine how stress can weaken our immune system, but more importantly we will study and practice ways of reducing stress in our personal lives. This is both an academic study of the psychobiology of stress as well as an opportunity to explore proactive ways of coping with stress. Satisfies the Social Science core requirement. Prerequisites & Notes PSY 100. (Cr: 3)
