Students will learn and put into practice the pedagogical competencies which deliver developmentally appropriate physical activities to children in grades Pre-K through 8. Primary emphasis will be given to best teaching practices and the implementation of curricula models that are based on developmental levels of students. Emphasis will be given to development of lesson plans, unit plans, objectives, procedures, formats, evaluation, legal liability, and other pedagogical components. Students will incorporate the skill-themes of rhythms and developmental games to teach their peers in a physical education setting. (Cr: 3)
