This course examines the professional practice of Interior Design. Students advance their knowledge in the business components necessary to engage the profession. The course carefully studies leadership, project management, financial management, client management, marketing and business development as well as strategies for integrated design. The development of a professional design portfolio is also a major focus of this course. This course serves as the pre-requisite for the fourth year senior internship experience in a professional design firm that solidifies concurrent learning between the classroom and the profession. Prerequisites & Notes ID 300 level courses or permission of instructor. (Cr: 2)
