This course focuses on fostering health in the community. Cultural, socioeconomic, and epidemiological factors are considered as community specific health problems are identified. Empowering individuals, families and groups to restore and maintain health as well as prevent illness and injury is an integral component of this course. Clinical learning experiences are provided in a variety of community and public health settings. Prerequisites & Notes NU 410, senior class status. (Cr: 4)
