This course provides various skills needed to perform methodological and statistical research in scientific fields, and therefore helps prepare the student for the required science-based Thesis I and II experiences. There will be emphasis on the development of testable questions, and acquisition of strategies for critically reading, understanding and evaluating scientific literature. Also, a working understanding of research design and implementation with an emphasis on real world full utilization of statistical analysis, and interpretation and presentation of results will be focal. Satisfies the Science and Math and Writing Designated core requirements. Prerequisites & Notes MTH 126, junior class standing or permission of the department chair (Cr: 3)
