This course is designed to strengthen students' understanding of pharmacology as it relates to the management of athletic injuries. A number of topics will be discussed, including federal and state regulations, documentation, as well as indications, contraindications, and adverse reactions of a number of pharmaceuticals. In addition, ergogenic aids in relation to enhancing sports performance will be presented. Prerequisites & Notes AT 203. (Cr: 3)
