The course includes the study of random variables, descriptive statistics, basic probability theory, and inferential statistics. Specific topics include frequency distributions, mean, median, variance, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, correlation, and regression analysis. Prerequisite: Basic skills in mathematics or permission of the instructor.
